2009 Season Announcement

To all Golfers

The 2009 Golf season has arrived. This year’s fee is $380.00 (same as 2008). Payment is due by March 5, 2009. Please make payments to Robert Brunelle and send it to PO Box 836, Billerica, MA 01821. DO NOT PAY AT THE COURSE. Payment for the league is due as one payment per request of the course management. If payment is not received by the due date it will be considered that you are not golfing this year. If you know of anyone who would like to join the league, please have them contact Bob Brunelle or Dave Rogers.

The season begins April 16, 2009 weather permitting. This year will begin with the same teams as last season. There will not be a handicap week. The first week will be head to head competition and the handicaps will be calculated out for the following week using the first week’s scores. Tee times and score cards will be located at the pro shop for that week. So please show up on time so your foursome is not waiting. You will be playing your real handicap within your flight without a cap. There will be an 18 handicap max in every flight. Half way through the season, we will review the handicaps and move flights around within the teams if necessary to even out play. All scores and standings will be posted in the pro shop weekly.
